Hot Sex: How to Do It
This incredibly through and deliciously hot manual deals with everything that might happen between the sheets. Erotic and explicit details on how to become an erotic expert are punctuated with sage advice addressing common bedroom insecurities. More inspiring than simply informative, this read will make you want to jump in the sack.
The title of this book doesn't leave much room for misunderstanding. Much like the book itself, it's very clear and straightforward. If your sex life needs a little pep, or perhaps it never quite had that zing, then this book is packed full of useful advice and tips on how to get the best out of one of our favourite leisure activities. Tracey Cox, a leading sexpert from down-under, has clearly done her research and relays her findings with frankness, a great deal of humour and just about as much thoroughness as you could possibly wish for. Up-to-date and unashamed in its attitudes, there are chapters taking in all different aspects of sexual technique, starting with masturbation (which some people may be surprised to find she nominates as "the first, most important, skip-it-and-you're-doomed step to becoming a sexpert") and moving through chapters on foreplay, intercourse and orgasm. You may think this all you'd need to know; you'd be wrong. Further invaluable chapters deal with important related issues, like sexual etiquette, contraception and STDs (sexually transmitted diseases), performance problems, sexual fantasies, gay and lesbian sex, and coping with the aftermath of abortion, rape and incest. The book is packed full of real-life anecdotes which add a dash of colour, and interesting factoids (for instance: "Number of women who've faked an orgasm: 56 per cent. Number of women who enjoy intercourse: 94.7 per cent"--well I never). There are no illustrations in the book, but as Ms Cox rightly points out, it's far more effective and enjoyable to work from a real-life model. I can't claim to have personally tested all her recommended methods, and many people, I'm sure, will feel that a good deal of this is old hat and that their own tried and tested techniques have served them well enough over the years. But there is a wealth of information here and there's bound to be something for even the most adept and experienced among us. Go on and treat yourself and your partner to a crash course in loving technique; even if it is just a refresher, you may be pleasantly surprised by the results.
This book has helped give me a fantastic sex life - seeing things from a woman's point of view and being able to pleasure her is very rewarding! And it works both ways too, especially if the girl has a copy of the book and you can practice together... For me, the girl in question is now my ex - but for the 4 years we were together, the sex was always exciting and adventurous - that is as a result of this book primarily! Can't wait to give the next special girl such pleasure... ;-)
I am 25 years old and this book was very appropriate for my age group. She writes in a very pleasant and upbeat way. The tips and advice are straightforward and useful. I personally learnt a lot from this book. I also recommend "Scientifically Guaranteed Male Multiple Orgasms and Ultimate sex".
I am really impressed with this book as I find it frank and to the point in every area it venture's. Some of the reviews seem to find the book to clinically and scientifically slanted, but I have read a few of these what to do books which drum out the same information time and again in each chapter, whereas this lady tells you as it is in a frank forward matter and from what I can see the humorous side of the book makes up for all the scientific facts which you can find statistic's for on any subject. This lady includes a chapter on sexual etiquette and one on contraception which can make the less responsible among us at least more aware of the dangers of sexual disease's which is a lesson most of these books could learn from.. All said this is a very informative read, to the point and well researched.
